Criteria
Requirements to be a mentor:
- Identify as a woman in the “One-to-One Mentorship”; a woman or a man in case of the “Corporate Mentorship”.
- Be 21 years or older with certain work experience
- Commit to a minimum of 30 minutes a week for 2 months (chat, phone, video calls)
- Be ready with a listening ear, advice, ideas, experiences to impact the life of a mentee
- Hold an associate degree or higher in STEM (or in active pursuit)
- Agree to respond to periodic assessment surveys
- Must reflect values of the referring institution
- Be willing to have a background screen
- Mentoring styles vary and so it is very important to find the style that works for you
- Be willing to adhere to all Mentoring Her procedures, terms, and conditions, including written policies and procedures
